Good Lawd!!!
Holy Crap!!! It’s been so long since I’ve updated. ‘Ol Ima has just had other things on his mind. I guess I’ve kinda been going through a post-college depression and have been considering the future. I see at least 6 more months at Citi in my crystal ball. The main reason though is that my computer is finally shot. It fritzes out constantly and freezes, so I actually have to type this post in Word and paste it to the blog site, otherwise my computer will lock up. Have I mentioned it can no longer handle Doom? (that’s right…part 1)
I purchased Madden 2005. The defense has improved, but they’ve limited the run. So I guess if I was playing Ernie, I’d only have about 350 to 375 rushing yards.
Anyway, Clint alerted me to some kind of music-type survey I needed to give a shot. So, with most seriousness, here goes:
First Record Bought: Guns N’ Roses “Appetite for Destruction”
First Concert: Stone Temple Pilots (JC, 1998)
Favorite Music Movie: Alice in Wonderland (it’s a musical)
Favorite Music Book: I don’t read
Favorite Songwriter(s): Tom Petty and Freddie Mercury
Favorite Record Label: Geffen
Favorite Magazine: See Book Response
Favorite Album Cover: “Actual Miles: Don Henley’s Greatest Hits”
Least Favorite Album Cover: Jane's Addiction "Strays" (I'm pretty sure that The Smiths never had a band photo this gay)
Favorite Teen Idol: Hillary Duff (give this one a few years…actually you don’t have to)
Band Who Broke My Heart: Rage Against the Machine
Artist I’ll Always Believe In: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (though I’m sure they’re nearing retirement)
Singer Who Makes My Skin Crawl: Geddy Lee and the lead singer for Molly Hatchett
Singers Who Make Me Swoon: Dido and Sade (embarrassing but true)
Favorite Sound: Girls Snoring
Album I’ll Always Defend: Depeche Mode’s “Violator”
Album I Own That No One Else Does: Orgy “Candyass”
Classic Album I Own but Don’t Like: Nirvana “Nevermind” (I really like all their other stuff, but not this album)
Artists I’m Supposed to Like but Don’t: Damn! Let’s See: The Beatles, Rush, The Beach Boys, ABBA, KISS (there’s just so many)
Bands That Should Break Up: Nickelback (I agree), Godsmack, Evanesence (sp?), Blessed Union of Souls (once again, too many to name)
Concert I Wish I’d Seen: Radiohead in Atlanta 2003
Dream Collaboration: James Taylor and Iron Maiden (I think it’d be funny)
Well, this literally took me 2 hours to type. Not from thinking but from waiting. My computer, and this is not an exaggeration, takes about 20 seconds to load each word I type. It’s pissing me off. Not to be an ass, but I may not post again for a while….this shit is killing me!
