'No Doubt' It's a Shame...She's Gone Solo!

Why, Gwen? Tell me why?!

The signs were there. Drastic changes had been made and things just weren’t how they used to be. Most all of us had to see it coming. It saddens me that I was so in the dark.

Rather than working with the others to create more of the joy they composed so well, why did Gwen Stefani strike out on her own and leave the creature comforts that surely came with being the frontwoman of No Doubt?

This atrocious event has plagued my being since its occurrence when her album hit shelves in 2004. How could she do this and leave the others behind? What was her motivation?

Does she have the “Phil Collins disease?” What I mean is, did she think that she was better than the rest of the band? Is that what prompted her solo album?

Was it because she was seeking an opportunity to deviate musically from the norm? This cannot be the reason, as No Doubt’s last album “Rocksteady” is VERY similar to her solo effort “Love Angel Music Baby.”

Could it have been due to dissension within No Doubt? I don’t think it could be this. She obviously had the band members by the short and curlies, as she was able to convince them to leave their ska/pop/rock roots and forge ahead by making dance music. They were under her thumb and would bend at the every whim of Gwen. Nothing to be ashamed of…I would too.

You don’t think her twat husband, Gavin Rossdale, had anything to do with this, do you? NO! Couldn’t have! After the super-turds of solo efforts on that he has recorded for various soundtracks, he would’ve surely tried to talk her out of a solo album. She shouldn’t listen to any input he has musically…he was in Bush after all.

So, I must know…is No Doubt no more? Will they be back to create the super ska/rock glee they once did?

Will Gwen return to No Doubt?!

Sleep won’t come easy tonight, knowing that there won’t be a new No Doubt album in the works when I awake…..
