Oh, Clint and Hoosh

I don't know if you fellas kept up or not, but the Arizona Cardinals were 3-1 in the preseason. Now I know you're gonna say it's just the preseason, but 'ol Ima thinks it's a sign of things to come. Go ahead and start saving up the beer money, boys!

Shit, you dreaming foo! You keep forgetting about the other teams in the division (Rams, Seahawks, and the other team...um...oh yeah...the 49ers). Two out of three ain't bad! I think I want a keg of Samuel Jackson, so you better be saving up the money, homey!

The only other team that can offer any competition in that division is the Rams, and the Cards can probably split with them. Your comment gave me an idea, though. I'm so damn confident Arizona will win ten games, that if they don't, I'll dress up like Meat Loaf (from the '70's) and perform the entire "Bat Out of Hell" album while you guys drink the keg beer. It's that sure a thing, homie!

Ima, don't go diggin yourself into a bigger, deeper hole. Forking out money for keg beer should be a big enough slap in the face. Be careful of the Seahawks and Clint's first love, Matt Hassellback, is going have a decent year. Don't forget Shaun Alexander too homey! Plus the Cardinals are a team that finds a way to lose no matter what chode is at Quaterback.

PS I double the motion on Samuel Jackson...mmm mmm bitch!! That's good Motherfuckin shitah!

Holy shit!!! Meat Loaf? Dude, if that happens, you'll have to have more than just me and Hoosh as your audience. Hilarious.

Hoosh, you're right....Clint is in love with Matt Hasselbeck. But you're right about the booze, too. That should suffice. But this is a new Cardinals team. There's something in the air. The stars are aligned. I wouldn't be shocked if they make it to the second round of the playoffs. I won't be buying this time. Ten wins will not be a problem. BA-LEE DAT!

Ima, don't even think that we're letting you out of your Meat Loaf fettish when the Cards don't win 10 games. The Cardinals remind me of Detroit...2-3 Good WRs, a young RB, and a more than capable QB that underperforms and makes his defense stay on the field longer than they would like...and when was the last time Motown had 10 wins??

After much research, it was all the way back in 1995 when they went 10-6. And the last time Arizona posted a 10 win season...1976!! Wow. The closest they've come to sniffing 10 wins was 1998...7 years ago when they posted a 9-7 record.

The thing about Detroit's defense staying on the field longer is this....they don't have a top 10 defense.

    But the Cards do!

I have never seen or heard of someone SLURPING a shitty team to the extent you have. If they do win 10 games, you'll deserve that keg beer. But it ain't going to happen. Get your Meat Loaf costume ready...fag. :)

Hoosh said I didn't have to do the Meat Loaf shit, choad. However, I won't have to worry about it anyway. The Redbirds play in the weakest division in football, and they are gonna win 10 games. They have a top 10 defense, improved offensive line, damn good, young receivers and a Hall of Fame QB (Yes, Warner will be a Hall of Famer). It's a different Cardinals team, homie. I'm gonna have NO sympathy drinking MY keg in front of you suckas when the Cardinals win 10 games.

Erin!!! School's going pretty good. I dropped my undergrad English class, so I don't have any classes on campus, which kinda sucks because the only reason I have to go to the ETSU campus is to go get yelled at in Financial Aid. I think my classes will be easy, just alot of work.

I hate to let ya down, but I won't be performing Meat Loaf. See, I'm actually going to win a bet for once!

Keep it real! Come by the office sometime. Congrats on the engagement!

Any way I could change the bet to 8-8 for the Cards?

Hell no homey. Better call up the costumers. Hoosh may have let you off the hook, but I haven't! Muhuhahahaha!

Ima, I never let you off the Meat Loaf hook! Read my comment from earlier. By the way, I can't ever remember a top 10 defense giving up 42 points to the Giants. Must be some kind of new numbering system I haven't heard about.

"Ima will do anything for Kurt, but kurt's wife won't let him do that!" Sing it Meat Loa..I mean Ima. Mmmm...keg beer..agghahahgg

A: That song is from the "Bat Out of Hell 2" album, so I can't sing that, playa.

B: The Cards D on paper is TUFF. I'm sure they'll pitch a couple of shutouts this year. It'll all come out in the wash.

I will do NO singing and it will be I who drinks to victory!

sorry hoosh..i didn't see your comment until monday. i have been internet-less for quite some time. give me a yell sometime, though for football watching purposes (i can email you kat's number...i don't have a phone).

0-3 Ima...I hoped you opened up a Savings account when you went to Eastman Credit Union. I would start putting back enough to cover the cost of that keg and you might want to throw in enough for some puddin snacks and send those to that sorry excuse for a team, The Cardinals, at the end of the year.

But just shoot me an email if you want to try and hang out and watch some games. hoosh1030@yahoo.com

    Later

I'm glad the Cards are torturing you with a peephole's worth glimpse of hope. You probably deserve it after slurping up Kurt Warner in the preseason.

1-3 homey. Only 4 more Ls to go. And then keg party at Ima's house.

I haven't had a chance to get to talk to ya Ima! I hope school is rocking for ya. I'm gonna have to swing by financial aid and see ya sometime. Thanks for the congrats. We'll all have to go to O'Charleys for a drink after Nov 3rd ;]. Take care and talk to ya soon!

    Hmm...another loss...oh I can taste it now...mmmm....beer...

The way this semester is going, I could finish the keg off by myself right now. Sheesh.

Ima, I'm a little bit surprised they didn't move up the Cardinals game to Friday from this weekend. Not because of any threat of a natural disaster, but I thought they would want to get the loss out of the way early so that their fans could have a better weekend.

    Later Meatloaf...

  • At 7:16 PM , Blogger imadt said...

You assholes let me off the hook with the Meatloaf thing!!!

  • At 6:22 PM , Blogger Clint said...

    Whatever, 'Loaf.

  • At 5:54 PM , Blogger Clint said...

So I guess your Cardinals are getting ready to go on a run of 8 wins in a row or so? Any plans for the weekend, 'Loaf?

  • At 1:20 AM , Blogger imadt said...

They're getting in the groove now...McCown is efficient enough and their defense is good, despite giving up shitloads of points. I know you boys are sweatin' it now.

  • At 3:56 PM , Blogger Hoosh said...

When are you going to quit slurping the Cardinals?

"...their defense is good, despite giving up shitloads of points..."

    C'mon 'Loaf
