Life In a Box

Today, the 13-year-old daughter of one of the counselors at work e-mailed me one of those little girl things. It was a Chinese Horoscope. Supposedly completing this will allow you to make a wish that will come true. I know, it’s a little “Hello Kittyish”….but keep in mind I have NO life, so of course I did it (I didn’t actually forward it to anyone, however…guess my wish won’t come true). Posted below are the directions from the e-mail:

1st. Get PEN and PAPER
2nd. WHEN CHOOSING NAMES, MAKE SURE THEY ARE REAL PEOPLE THAT YOU ACTUALLY KNOW
3rd. GO WITH YOUR FIRST INSTINCTS !!!!! Very important for good results.
4th. SCROLL DOWN ONE LINE AT THE TIME DON`T READ AHEAD otherwise YOU WILL RUIN THE FUN.

1. On a blank sheet of paper, WRITE NUMBERS 1 through 11 in a COLUMN on the LEFT.
2. BESIDE the NUMBERS 1 & 2, WRITE DOWN ANY 2 NUMBERS YOU WANT. DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE NUMBER?

Keep in mind what a pathetic loser I am before accusing me of shopping at Sanrio. These things are sort of neat in sixth grade sort of way if you sit down and take the time to interpret them VERY openly (and I’ve got a lot of time to interpret). For some reason, for number 11 (the fourth song title) I wrote down “Rock Box” by Run DMC. This song is supposed to indicate how I feel about life. Below are the lyrics:
